A small, colorful guesthouse in Centro La Paz, Baja California Sur. It has four private rooms (Desert, Cacti, Wave and Mangrove), each with its own bathroom, plus the Ocean Suite, a private two-bedroom apartment on the top floor. Every space is inspired by a different Baja ecosystem.

Yes. Each of the four rooms can be booked on its own. You get a private bedroom and private bathroom, and share the ground-floor kitchen, living room, pool and patio with grill with other guests.

Yes. The Ocean Suite is a private two-bedroom apartment with its own kitchen, living room, one Jack-and-Jill bathroom and an ocean-view balcony.

We'd love to host groups. Choose Multiple rooms on the waitlist form and tell us which rooms you're after, and we'll work with you once reservations open.

Yes. Between the four rooms and the Ocean Suite, Colibri Centro works well for friends, families and dive groups. Whole-property stays are something we're planning for; pick Full property on the waitlist form to let us know you're interested.

The ground-floor kitchen and living room (we call them the Oasis) are shared by guests in the Desert, Cacti, Wave and Mangrove rooms. The pool and patio with grill are shared by all guests. On every page, a solid badge means private and a dashed badge means shared.

Desert Room: queen. Cacti Room: king. Wave Room: full. Mangrove Room: full. Ocean Suite: a full-size bed in both the Seagrass and Tide Pool bedrooms.

All of them. The Desert, Wave and Mangrove rooms each have a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink; the Cacti Room's private bathroom also has a bathtub. The Ocean Suite's two bedrooms share one Jack-and-Jill bathroom that's private to the suite.

Yes. The suite has a private kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave and sink, plus a dining table and a private living room. The Mangrove Room, also on the third floor, does not have a kitchen; its guests share the kitchen and living room downstairs.

Yes. The pool and the covered patio with its grill are shared by everyone staying at Colibri Centro.

The Desert, Cacti, Wave and Mangrove rooms and the Ocean Suite's Seagrass bedroom have TVs (in the Desert Room it's inside the wardrobe).

The Cacti Room has a private covered balcony with a water view, the Wave Room has a balcony, and the Ocean Suite has a private balcony with ocean and sunset views, a dining table and two loungers.

We're not advertising breakfast. Guests in the private rooms can use the shared kitchen, and the Ocean Suite has its own kitchen. There are also great cafés a short walk away.

The Malecón waterfront is one block away. The nearest swimming beach is about a five-minute drive, more beaches are about ten minutes, and Playa Balandra is about 25 minutes from town.

Yes. Two marinas are nearby and dive shops cluster around Centro, so most boat, dive and snorkel trips are a short ride away. See things to do.

Everyone enters through Colibri Centro's gated main entrance on the ground floor. The second floor (Cacti and Wave rooms) is two flights of stairs up. The third floor (Ocean Suite and Mangrove Room) is three flights up; the Ocean Suite has its own private door once you get there.

Plan on stairs: two flights to the second floor and three to the third. If stairs are difficult for anyone in your group, the Desert Room is on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen, living room and pool, with no stairs to climb. Get in touch with any accessibility questions and we'll give you the details.

There's street parking nearby.

No. Parking is on the street, so it isn't reserved for guests.

We'll confirm internet details before reservations open. If reliable internet is essential for your trip, mention it on the waitlist form and we'll get back to you with specifics.

The Desert, Cacti, Wave and Mangrove rooms and the Ocean Suite's Seagrass bedroom all have desks, and the living room downstairs has a big dining table. We'll confirm Wi-Fi details before opening.

We're still working out gear storage. Tell us what you're bringing on the waitlist form and we'll let you know what's possible before you book.

Colibri Centro has a gated entrance.

Most of Centro is walkable. DiDi is the rideshare app most people use locally, and we can point you to trusted drivers for airport transfers and day trips to Todos Santos or Los Cabos. The bus terminal serves the rest of Baja California Sur.

There's a Chedraui supermarket, an OXXO convenience store and a pharmacy nearby, ATMs in Centro, and the Saturday Mercado Orgánico y Artesanal for produce.
