Walk.
Colibri Centro is one block back from the Malecón, the waterfront promenade that runs along the bay. Coffee, dinner and a nightcap are all on foot.

The nearest swimming beach is about a five-minute drive away. More beaches, and the bigger harbor areas, are about ten.
Further out along the peninsula you'll find La Paz's postcard beaches, including Playa Balandra, famous for shallow, glassy turquoise water, about 25 minutes from town. Go early on weekends, bring shade and water, and leave nothing behind.
Or don't drive at all: the pool at the house is right out back.

Getting around.
Most of Centro is walkable. For everything else:
- DiDi is the rideshare app most people use in La Paz, and it's inexpensive.
- We can point you to trusted local drivers for airport transfers and day trips to Todos Santos or Los Cabos.
- The bus terminal connects La Paz with the rest of Baja California Sur.
- Street parking is available near the house if you rent a car.
